Jane Whitmire holds a BS in Business Management from Arizona State University, an MA in Sustainable Communities and a Ph.D. in Political Science from Northern Arizona University. She is Principal/Senior Research Associate of RCI Surveys, Inc. Jane was a founding member of Verde Valley Land Preservation, Inc., and has served on numerous boards and civic committees in the Verde Valley, including the Verde Valley Forum for Public Affairs, Verde Valley Caregivers, Yavapai County Community Foundation and the Camp Verde Planning and Zoning Commission. She is a founding board member of the Phillip England Center for the Performing Arts Foundation and currently serves as Interim President.
Jane is the mother of four children and grandmother of ten. She lives with her husband Marshall in Camp Verde. She enjoys playing piano and organ, reading, political intrigue (especially in election years), environmental policy analysis, classic movies, gardening, the rugged northern California coast and spending time with her children and grandchildren, as well as with Marshall’s son and his family.
